Cruise from the Cape Town V&A Waterfront to Clifton bay (also known as the Monaco of South Africa) which is the ideal place to spend a few hours at anchor onboard Enigma Cape Town's newest Power Catamaran, enjoying the sun and a swim in the cool water.
About this boat
Is a State of the art 42" Power Catamaran built as a Day Charter & Adventure Catamaran, perfect for all chartered cruises from private parties to corporate functions. Enigma has twin decks, twin marine toilets, 2 x 230 HP engines with a cruising speed of 11 knots and luxurious fittings make her the ideal platform to cruise offshore in comfort, safety, and style. Maximum capacity of 65 pax (including 5 crew). Number of guests 60 pax however 50 pax is recommended for a more comfortable and spacious environment.

Route
Generally the most scenic route is cruising from Granger Bay, past the famous Light House, past Sea Point and then heading up to Clifton Beach with spectacular views of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles Mountain range during the entire trip. However the entire Table Bay and surrounding areas may be utilised depending on the weather and sea conditions for the trip. The Skipper / Captain will make the final call.
Weather
Cruise time and cruise course are dependent on weather conditions and at the discretion of the skipper. You and your guests safety will always be our primary priority.
What to Wear
Sunglasses, hats, a jersey or windbreaker as well as non-deck marking shoes (eg trainers/deck shoes, no black soles) is recommended.
Bar
Fully stocked cash / card onboard bar. A beverage list is attached (local beers, wines, sparkling wines, and soft drinks). You can bring along your wines or champagne, however a corkage fee of R50 per bottle will apply. No other alcohol or soft drinks will be allowed onboard, unless there has been prior written agreement. You can also arrange beforehand a bar tab or a welcome drink for your guests.
Catering
Menu options are available. Cruise and Dine Packages available for Dinner and Lunch. BBQ Facilities are also available. Otherwise you are more than welcome to bring your own food and snacks. Catering is to be arranged prior to the charter. BBQ / Braai available.
DJ / Entertainer
There is also an onboard sound system with Bluetooth & USB connection if you wish to bring your own music. We have numerous DJs on our supplier list and are happy to facilitate that for you. Cape Town based Singer/Entertainer details available on request. Should you wish to supply your own DJ, they will need to bring their own equipment and speakers.

- • Note (A) Private Charters Booked over the Sunset Period (Our Peak Time) are for a minimum of 2 Hours. Private Charters during the balance of the day can be booked for a minimum of one hour.
- • Note (B) The Reduced Passenger rate is the lesser passenger number quoted in the rates, and is to encourage smaller groups or families to use a vessel privately. Reduced Passenger Rates are not available in Prime Time and over Sunset Period. Prime/peak Months: November 2022 – March 2023.
